A Personal Perspective
When I founded Precise Hotels & Resorts in 2005, I brought with me years of working in international hospitality and a growing conviction about what makes a hotel memorable. I wanted to create places with their own character, where design, atmosphere and service express a clear point of view.
My career began in hotel operations and developed through management roles with international groups, including Hyatt International. Those years gave me a practical understanding of hospitality, but they also shaped my ambition as an owner. I wanted the freedom to approach each property individually, to discover its possibilities and build something meaningful around them.
Over the years, that ambition has taken us through historic buildings, country estates, coastal resorts and urban hotels across Europe. Each project has presented a different challenge. Some needed their original character brought back to life; others needed a new direction. What connects them is the care with which we consider the place and the experience we hope to create within it.
I am drawn to hotels that hold a sense of discovery. A building with a past, a landscape that changes with the light, a room that invites you to pause. These qualities provide the beginnings of a hotel’s story. Our work is to develop them through architecture, interiors, food and the way we welcome people.
For me, design and operations are inseparable. A beautiful space must also work effortlessly for the guest. The atmosphere we imagine must be supported by the daily decisions of the team: how a room is prepared, how a meal is served, how a request is understood. This is where a vision becomes hospitality.
I remain personally involved because I care about that connection. There is satisfaction in seeing a property take shape, but even more in seeing it come alive—when guests settle in, people gather around a table, and the team begins to make the place its own.
At Precise, we believe in understated hospitality: thoughtful surroundings, attentive service and the ease of feeling welcome. Each hotel has its own expression, rooted in its setting and shaped by the people behind it.
Looking ahead, my ambition remains personal. To create hotels with lasting character. To give people the time and space to enjoy where they are. And to make places that stay with them long after they leave.
